Can't Log in to SEA1

Hey Gents, been away for a while!
Busy with other things, but one thing that has kept me away is some technical issues.
I only see this with SEA1 right now, but sometimes it happened with the MA too. WHn I'd try to enter the areana, I'd see the sloading screen, like it was downloading a terrain, but the progress bar was empty and the download speed numbers etc were all blank. That'd last 1/4 second and then crash to desktop. Training arena was always fine. Tried deleting and redownloading terrains. Tried deleting and reinstalling th game. Tried deleting stdshape. res, terrset. res, and all terrains folders. No luck.
I'm a little stumped....any suggestions anyone?

Some information about your system would be helpful. Like the first third of your DxDiag output.

Sorry, I should've thought of that.
Just so I'm clear- I can log into and play in the MA, TA, DA, and offline just fine....only SEA1 doesn't work.
Have tried DX9 and DX11 and it doesn't really seem to make a difference.

Just for giggles, did you try with firewall disabled?
On front page, if you go to change terrain and DL a map, does it work?
Have you tried it when a different terrain is loaded?

Process of elimination I guess.

Yep, firewall is off.
terrains download & run ok.
It's been a thing over several months,including FSO nights....so would be when different maps are on.
One thing I notice a lot is, whatever terrain will be up says "out of date-please re-upload" on the terrains page.

grasping at straws a bit. WIll keep digging into the firewall stuff to make sure there isn't some other program in the background....but you'd think it'd affect the entire game...
