Wife is from Logansport. What's left of her family won't be impacted by anything 2 hrs away in Gary. Still, I will be glad to hear of anything positive happening there.

Absolutely !

I would be elated to be wrong

BTW, France Park in Logansport was my place for rock quarry cliff diving/jumping. I did go off the 100’.  Great area to grow up. Direct opposite of Gary

In all of that, you did not address the concern of the poster who you quoted, which essentially was, why would
intelligent beings allow an inanimate object dictate their lives or contradict their laws?  Enforcing and protecting our laws seems to be a big issue with close to half of this country these days, so I at least agree with the 50% part.

Because its a fish hook rerun. No matter the facts  they are refused. Not retained, not recalled, rinse and repeat

Its s lust for conflict troll convo. Yes I did respond to it, its up to the courts. Its not a cognitive convo. It waste my time.

We should swamp the country with drugs and blame the teen for a weak moment. Not the drugs or dealers fault.

Japanese steel has low standards. Germany is superior as they have a much higher % of purity,  better then USA. If I remember right, USA is 93%, Germany 98%. Part why their engines last forever.

When I was 20-ush I had a short job in a sheet metal mill, running a shear machine. The big 40k lb rolls.. We often got steel rolls from truck accidents, to straighten out the damaged , sometimes they got rained on and started rusting.

I’d run it through the shear to make sheets. Japan knowingly bought only the rusted metal to make Toyotas. American companies bought the clean stuff only, zero rust.

While they MAY make jobs, I question their product quality

Look at the demographic, and then you will know the answer of the source of the violence. The lawsuit is bogus. The holder of the gun is the person responsible for the murder. A gun doesnt magically come to life and kill someone. Thats like suing auto manufacturers or knife manufacturers because their tool is being used wrongly to kill someone

I have figured out the answer to gun violence! Criminals break laws and use guns to cause violence. The answer is simple. All we have to do is make a law that criminals have to follow gun laws!

I'm sure there's been many times that a criminal put down his firearm because he saw a sign that said "gun free zone"

I’m actually certified by Chicago PD for Active Shooter training by CPD, which includes spotting bombs and activities, body language.

I used to own 11 guns. I just retained my .357 Python. I’m a damn good shot you don’t want to be down range. I’m not anti-gun, I’m anti-stupid.  Stop giving them to idiots.

I agree! If the government would just pass that law saying criminals must follow gun laws then no idiots would have access to guns!

Actually, while their at it. Why not just make a law saying criminals must follow ALL laws!

Here's another great idea - when they break the law, charge and prosecute them.

Right, right, right.

When you made guns easy fir you to get, ya also made it just as possible fir someone to become a criminal with it.

Seriously, selective swiss cheese.
This is why I don’t debate the political obvious, its drenched in willful ignorance to feed the lust for conflict.

i hear FB is good for that.

I'm neither pro or anti gun, however, I am pro logic. I'm interested in hearing how you would propose to keep them out of the hands of criminals who don't buy them at gun stores?

I think the point that you're missing is that the criminals aren't going to follow the laws. The only people who would follow the laws are the people who are trying to protect themselves from criminals.

I'll give you an example. My wife's parents live in another country that has very strict gun ownership laws. It's very hard for a normal person to get a gun there. For some reason the criminals there have no problem getting guns.

That logic wont work. Apparently the criminal is innocent because the big bad gun magically made the criminal commit the gun crime, not the fact that the criminal is a POS scumbag that should of been locked up for 20 years for the crime instead of the catch and release programs

I also have always found it interesting how the people (not hazmatt) who want to legalize all or most drugs because they claim the war on drugs is a waste of time/money and not winnable, are often times the same people who want to ban guns.  As if banning guns won't create a huge gun black-market just like we have with drugs.

Over the last 5 years, the United States has averaged around 100k drug overdoses and about 15k murders by firearm per year.

Not looking at FBI stats right now, but your death by gun I think is more like 39,000.

The scared right on this subject don’t understand we CANNOT suddenly ban guns.
Over 310,000,000 guns located in 68,000,000 places. It would take 2-3 other countries to literally flatten the country to grab them back. The gun ban paranoia is wasted drama.

It is mathematically impossible to take our guns. Period

A ocean if wasted tears and froth, more so undue blind hate. No one said ban guns, its imaginary nonsense, you do not listen, its about background checks. Get over yourselves. <shrug>

I wrote murder by firearm.  You're probably including accidental and suicidal deaths.

And the smug left is hoping that the right will be naive enough to believe they can't remove our guns, one ban at a time.

Dude, get off your pedestal. You speak nonsense. Drag up the FBI files, or I will, they have a stat page of tables. TX is second only to CA in murder by guns.

No natter what anyone convinces you, it is IMPOSSIBLE to ban guns. PERIOD. You cry be ause you’re addicted to hysteria snd crying over false facts you cling to no matter what proof people shoe you. Thats your fault for believing cons and grifters. The left is not posting political nonsense baseless conspiracy here. The right cannot shut up, you projected your crying on the left.   90% of political post and hijacking's come from the right, so spare us your tears about your foolish  tear because you repeat, you research nothing. Youtube is NOT research.

Your guns cannot be taken, period.

TX #2 in gun violance. Chicago, IL is way down charts, Tx is wors than IN and IL combined.
