Intel may finally bring a challenge to the lower-mid range nividia and amd gpus. We'll see.

I currently use a Radeon, not sure which one lol. It's pretty though.

AMD built-in graphics APUs are almost even with low-end gpus.
Another generation or two, and they will make mid-range gpus obsolete.
But since I fly in VR, neither none of those are good enough and the necessary high end cards cost more than the rest of the PC.

It used to be "last years" gpus sold for a fraction of their MSRP.
In the present market, the not only sell above their original MSRP, but often are priced higher than the current generation.
Of course, the MSRP more than doubled after Covid, and never really came back down to reasonable prices.
GPU prices are about to end my flight sim hobby.
