I liked it well enough to have watched it twice but it's not on my favorites list for WWII flicks. They should have called it "The Longest Movie."

I liked it well enough to have watched it twice but it's not on my favorites list for WWII flicks. They should have called it "The Longest Movie."

Yeah, it's a marathon.  They did sorta warn you in the title. 

Like Ten Commandments or Lawrence of Arabia or something.  Just one of those epics you just need to sit through occasionally.  Just to remind yourself that not everything has to be a Marvel comic book movie.

Probably because it attempts to tell the story from both sides, and cover a lot of what happened.
