Most even plane matchups, where its the pilot not the plane

i need some ideas people. i need some fairly even plane matchups.

these 2 i know.

109E vs SpitI and HurriI
109F vs SpitV

please suggest other even matchups. this will be for thursday nights.

I'm no pro, in fact I'm terrible in each one but I'd have a great time in a fur ball filled only with these planes.

i wouldnt pit anything against the brewster except maybe the Yak3!

i like the 190 vs the P47 though!

P-40 vs Spit IX has to be a typo.


The best duels are C.202 vs C.202.  They are agile and fairly tough, enabling you to survive a mistake or two and turn the tables.

Yeah that 202 is a blast, actually the c205 vs p51 is pretty fun too.

The P40 is a decent turner and a lot of fun.

A lot of variables and options, but if you can provide a basic timeframe of early/mid/late war and which flavor of axis vs allies, I can give you a very good idea.

Or... you could go look at the old CT/AvA setups for ideas - they were usually balanced.
