CvWar (cvwar.res) for the MA is finally done and has been uploaded to the server. I’ll be sending a request Monday to put it into the rotation.
It’s a 2 minute download at 0.429 meg per sec.

We would like people to come in and confirm that airplane icons can be seen through the clouds.
The cyclone clouds start at 14k and reach to 20k. You won’t be dropping any bombs through that soup!

It has been a long slog getting here. The last original version, of dozens, that I could find, was named “cyclone” dated February 2022. The hint of a cyclone sea remains in the CBM.

I hope to see many air and gun battles between Task Groups and Island bases. Also, I hope to see many NOE missions for new baby seals, er, I mean new players. The assassins among you should find that to be exciting base defense if you really don’t care about score as many claim.
Also, being a resident of California for the past four decades, I’ve come to appreciate public transportation. You might come to like it as well.

There is one known issue here with this terrain and a future update is ready for upload once that issue is resolved. Until then, the Ports must be captured by air or land on this particular terrain.

Thanks Popeye for pointing out I forgot to mention the hanger spawns from the mainland bases being on the field behind the base hangers. I had 2 reasons for doing that; I wanted to make sure you knew which spawn direction went where, and 2, I didn't want a spawn offshore that could be used to kill LVT approaching the town.
Additionally, spawning to the base hanger limits arc of fire if you use it. Maybe I should put them inside a hanger.

Yeah, I should move them inside the indestructable hangers at the back. I'll find the best place as not to interfere with picking a ride or using the convergence function.

I'm definitely moving the mainland PT spawns inside the indestructable hangers. After all, the spawn says hanger and you're NOT on an island or Port. If you can find the gun position that can see through the hanger wall, I don't recommend trying to fire through it because you end up getting killed.

Last thing for you base defenders. Take a page from the GV guy's manual on defeating base vultures. And fly Monday night Madness to see which are the two or three planes capable of getting off the ground in hostile skys and into the fight. Any complaints there won't find sympathy from these parts as I always found that to be fun.

A couple dozen more PT spawns to move... later.

One nice thing about moving the PT-Boat hanger spawn inside the indestructable hanger is the opportunity to adjust your head position to the gunsights using the convergence targets.

PT spawns done.
Central cyclone cloud layer centered to match the center point for the three medium airfields in the "middle" of the terrain.
