I will leave the game before I "Live with it". I will continue to try and get the changes done that will prevent ANYONE from getting in the buildings. :rock

I'm not really sure there is just one easy "fix" to the GV issues.  Seen too many glitches and bugs over the years to invest much time playing in them, especially once I caught on to the glitches or exploits.  Perhaps it's just part of the game engine, terrain software, etc.
Myself, I believe the GV guys have gotten too used to the way things are/were.
I can remember when they dumbed down the GV icons, back in AH2.  It made encounters with GV's kinda risky cause you couldn't see them til you were in their range, and lots of times by then it was too late........you'd get smoked by a Wirb/Osty or some guy firing an HE round into the ground and you'd die from the blast splash.
With AH3 and the new terrain software, and their ability to hide in bushes that shouldn't hide them........nope......I try to avoid them if I can, unless it's a last ditch effort to save a base or town from being captured.  Otherwise, I find somewhere else to play, their ability to hide, fire through seemingly solid objects, drive into buildings, etc is just not what I prefer to call a level playing field.
If HiTech addresses it, and I hope he does, it will be a welcome change to the game dynamics.

Be nice, Pots.  Airplane drivers have their own little complaints that dwarf truck driver anger (as in, did you ever hear of "ENY"?).

Many here have gotten used to exploiting having unrealistic rudder authority that allows a plane to turn like a rotisserie as if there is no vertical stabilizer working against the rotation in the yaw axis

There isn’t any ww2 warbird with enough rudder authority to maintain altitude (or even climb) flying a “knife edge with 90 degree bank” yet we see planes with massively heavy engines out front are able to do this.

That said, arena pilots simply exploit this and it is some pilot’s only GoTo move.

Now if HTC reduces rudder authority, the planes will handle very differently causing mass hysteria.

I would rather the rudder authority stay how it currently is because of the potential repercussions of possibly alienating our player base.   I can live with the rudder like it is.

I now watch films to find out which building they are in and bomb them.

Since destroyable buildings’ walls can go from transparent from the inside to fully opaque because they are “destroyed, why not make this building/object act as “destroyed” at all times with not being able to see out.

It might be easier than fixing the building access bug.

Buildings in the terrain, ie not part of Town/Strats/Bases, are not destroyable objects. The buildings in the general terrains are Speed Tree objects. and like the trees in the terrain can not be destroyed. Using AP/HE rounds at the building do nothing to anything in the interior of the "building" as the rounds do not enter the "building". When bombs are used, they generate an explosion then does enter the building, thus damaging or destroying the gv inside.  :rock
