hopefully he has realized that convergence hasn't changed, but its possible bullet velocity changed, that would really screw up any lead computation.  I doubt any changes have been made though, its all verifiable by nerds.  And with the lack of updates the game has, any sort of hours spent working on the game probably wouldve been proudly announced.

Updates to the terrsets was not announced.

Those are just standard player made maps, not coding

I don't really understand why there is no announcement on the main page website when new maps are released. Thats huge for most games. Shows things are happening in the game. I bet the north america map would have been great for advertising..

Actually it did involve coding, and required updating foundational components of the game. BTW the Map rotation sequence was changed as well.

Never thought of it but I agree with this as well… announcements on the website about new maps, skins, etc shows people who might be interested in the game that it is in fact alive and worth at least trying out. The posting of FSO on the main page is great and still shows the community is involved, I think posting screenshots of the new skins/maps would be just as beneficial

Food for thought…. Have you changed any graphics settings, FOV, or got a new monitor possibly different size? Changing a monitor can affect what you are used to seeing often when gaming.

There was no issue in giving me a PW at 1000 out and lighting my plane on fire at 800 out, despite dropping on him at 500+mph last week.

One thing I had forgotten but re-learned in that moment, is that bombers flying on the deck are a sucker bet.  You can't properly follow through on your attack and are forced to either come in shallow or reduce speed to prevent becoming a lawn ornament.

What has changed is all those days piled up behind you and so many fewer days ahead of you. In fact, when you look at it that way, why waste the fewer days worrying about little things and just have fun. I promise you will get a brand new plane and no one will know the difference...... unless you post here that you were shot down.

I have not been flying much at all..... but when I do, I test the hardness of the ground right off the bat to get that out of the way. I might take a few trees with me when I do.  :D

Have fun!!  :aok

May the baaahhh be with you, always

I still make good shots but something changed awhile back. Gunning was like shooting laser beams and then one day it was different. Before that time I could go on +10 kill sorties, US heavy bombers were tanks, and it was extremely unfair to the player base.

What I believe were changes to bombers were necessary for the betterment of the community. The one delusional conspiracy I have held onto was that it wasnt HT who made the change...

Kenai77 confirms individual maps may hold the clue in the discrepancies in physics between the different maps i.e. drones acting wonky on a certain map while behaving normally on another. Im not saying there is a grand conspiracy against me. Im also not saying Kenai77 is the one making changes around here. Im not here to make any personal accusations. Ive flown an unhealthy amount of hours in this game coping with mental health issues over the years. Repetition over and over yeilds the same results once you hit a certain level with instinct and muscle memory. Something changed and its never been the same since.
