Me and my dad used to ride an old Bultaco 360 from the 70's. We were terrible riders on an obscenely testy and dangerous bike but we had a blast. I remember he jumped an irrigation ditch once only to land in some heavy brush and come out the other side with the shirt torn completely of his back and a huge grin on his face. Not quite Fonzie clearing all the garbage cans but cool nonetheless. Good times.

Early teens I rode my street bikes and scramblers on the dirt hills. I got smarter. A little bit.

Trials was a popular thing back in the early/mid 70's. Not my thing but I had friends who enjoyed it.

Well, I am currently building this..
It is a 1985 GSX 750, it is pretty close to final look here, but will have a small front fender, some black custom made side covers and that's about it.

Last year I finished a 1988 Honda Shadow VT1100C that I customized into something more unique. Throwing in a picture of that aswell, even if it is not for this thread. We need a new thread for custom builds and choppers!  :old:

I used to ride dirtbikes as a kid and teen (70's and 80's).  Had a Yamaha GT80 then YZ80 as a kid, and then a Suzuki RM125 as an older teen, and a Yamaha DT175.

Was super fun.  Read Dirt Bike magazine.  Worked on my bikes.  I always dreamed about when I was an adult, I'd get an on/off road enduro, ride it on the street to go trail riding.

Then, as an adult, I never did that.
