Why are 1k bombs no longer killing gv's with HE splash?

2 situations where 1k bombs well within the splash range of a gv kill radius didnt kill the gv or cause it to smoke. No elevation difference and yes that can make a difference sometimes. Im not trying to cause problems im sharing observations that are outside of the norm from my playing experince. Suggestions are welcomed  both situations happened on newer maps.

they are working just fine, a little too good.  I use mostly 250 or 500.  1k is for when there is a Tiger 2 in play.

Yeah it all depends on where it lands with the tank. I've had it happen before as well although it's more rare with the typical T34s and M4s people run around in

The only times I can even see a GV is when they are dropping troops or when it's a Wirbel firing at me.  The same Wirbel that can ID my plane from 6.0k away.

With all the spawn points between bases and the GV cloaking devices, the balance is decidedly in favor of a ground attack.  Coupled with the giant bomber icons goons get, there is no reason to ever use one.

Im not saying whether or not something is working fine or as intended. 1k bombs dropped within 1-2 tank lengths will destroy the gv. In both cases I am sharing the crater was within 1 tank length. A second bomb nuetralized the target. As many times as I have bomb****ed in this game it isnt just rare it simply doesnt happen. I dont mind if changes are being made. Also dont want to see the game breaking or changes happening without  HT knowing.

Changes are not being made to the game, that I am aware of, that were not done by Hitech or someone he has authorized to do it. Other than new maps or overhauled maps, the only changes I know of are the increase in Minimum Radar alt. raised from 60 ft. to 100 ft. and the increase in the Base Ammo bunkers from 331 lbs. of ordnance to 878 lbs. (note the Ammo bunkers at the Ammo strat, were not changed)
