Can a CV task group be supplied by landing C-47 on carrier?

I have tried dropping supplies and landing supplies on a CV, with no downtime changes on the CV. What would be nice is being able to launch an LVT from a adjacent friendly CV and  resupply it that way. Same applies to a BB. Just a thought.

You can with direct fire into the cockpit killing the pilot.

You might be able to do that and get one on the first pass if you are above them and get a good bearing on them. However, after you make that pass, youll have to dive so that you can try to remain out in front, then get your alt and speed back for another go. Rinse and repeat for the third one. This would take about 30 min since they are so damn fast. You'd have to get one to blow up on every pass. If they are shooting back also, you can pretty much forget about it. I don't even know if a C202 is fast enough to catch a B26 and stay out in front while climbing.

Good challenge for sure! But definitely not easy.

In 2011, I killed a set of B-17s with a 202.  I remember it and saved a screenshot from the film.  Could not do it again if you paid me.

He was a noob that sprayed out all his ammo.  I did torch one while he was still shooting.

I still try to duck and weave to get bombers to waste their ammo. It works sometimes. Sometimes not so much.

However, B26s in the arenas tend to use Stalinwood mixed with depleted Uranium and not normal ingredients, like flammable material.
It's the bomber version of a Yak3.

When I flew the Fw190a8 almost exclusively I expected to kill one of the B26s, and get one smoking in the first pass, normally I got the second after, but I lost my engine to enthusiastic gunners, and had to abort.
If the B26s have good altitude and do a shallow dive you're in for a painful long pursuit, getting hammered by .50 cal lazers all the way to the morgue.

Against the B17 I got one or 2 and the other smoking in the first pass, and finished off the remaining in the second pass, Lancaster's all blew up in one pass.
