Had to go with 41 Squadron. I can say that I knew a number of Spit XII/XIV pilots from 41. There are at least ten of them in this photo with a very young CorkyJr in front. Sadly all gone now, but to sit in the Officers Club at RAF Coltishall in 1986 and listen to their stories was a little bit of heaven for me. I was basically 'adopted' by 41 as I'd tracked so many of them down and helped organize the first reunion. I have my 41 Squadron Tie and Mug to prove it

If nothing else, I can bore the crew with stories of those guys. This is F/L Ross Harding. He finished his RAF career as an Air Vice Marshal. He's standing next to his flak damaged 41 Squadron Spit XIV. He's leaning on the tail in the back row on the far left in the photo from the 41 Squadron reunion.
