When was the last time a significant change was made to the game?

Thank you.

Define "significant"

Anything requiring programming, not just changing the value of a parameter.

Does it matter?
Back in 2022 after a loooooong break from 2010. Old name Ratpack, same for the BBS.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

Hitech recently updated 2 of the terrsets, 00 and 03, to correct some graphical errors. One being gv's accessing the 3 story buildings, this has been corrected on the newer maps, but a couple of the older maps need to be re-built still. :rock

If/when the slow download speeds are corrected, that would be the latest change to the game...

All in all Hitech is "maintaining" the game. The little fixes and coad upgrades to keep it running clean and safe from hacks is an on going thing. As for "new" things, not for a while except for skins and maps. According to "Lusche" the last plane added was the Tu-2 in January 2014. Maps take a lot of time to build, 3-6 months of work then there is testing, approvals, compiling and uploading to the game. Skins are a bit quicker once you have the basic skin built. Most of the layers they build in on the first plane model can be used on all other models of that plane so they can pop them out pretty quick.

If/when the slow download speeds are corrected, that would be the latest change to the game...

I think that is network issues, some are not under HTC control. Routes, bottle necks, and over sold servers are out of Hitechs control.
