F HOs were not counted these list may be more accurate. But my experience, many who talk the big game also HO, a lot. Sooo as far as I’m concerned these don’t always project true skills.

How mass kills are acquired tells its one story.

I remember some really powerful sticks, almost impossible to knock down in their specific planes, even in 1 vs 2 and energy disavantage combat. So I guess they're admirable in their T&B style of combat.

 - Debrody in a 109 or Dora
 - Kuprinski in his P47
 - Lilmak in his P47
 - 2cmex in his niki / ¿zeke ?
 - Lazer in his P38

 - and 9999999 in his B17

I will agree that the subject matter here is pretty subjective. Many guys mentioned in this thread have fallen to me pretty easily in the past. That’s not to say I was any “better” than them but to point out that certain styles work well when employed against others. Kinda like the duel between Westley and Inigo Montoya in The Princess bride. You pick the wrong style in a particular fight and back to the tower you go.

For me, the "A" listers are those that get down and dirty no matter what the numbers or alt disadvantage is.
Quite a few present day fighters make that list that just kick the crap out of me every time I come across them. (Cmex, Trog, BigDawg, Hollywood).

What you see now mostly are those guys in uber fast planes that faint at the sight of any sort of alt or number disadvantage.

Can we end this discredited thread already... putting players into tiers is not identified by any metrics or logical approach to measurement. There is simply no way to measure this effectively in any way. There are so many players throughout the years and different times of AH player #s that factor into this that make it ridiculously hard to measure a true tiered list. Its just silly at this point.

Well there is no logical way to put players in tiers. Its all about "this one time at band camp". And those players (no offense) arent good enough to fully measure actual skill relative to others, especially given some of these "top sticks" flying mostly 5eny planes with cannon loaders for the easy overshoot kill. There are like more than 2-3 dozen great sticks over the years not mentioned in here, therefore this thread is not based on any rational measurement but moreso "this one time at band camp". Therefore I don't think its very fair to the majority of great sticks over the years.
