Finally running at 4k, 110-120fps
« on: September 02, 2025, 10:14:50 PM »
Finally took time to get everything setup right and flowing good at 4k. Which probably doesn't mean anything to some. Amazing and stupit things I put off these days.
A big difference from hap-hazard 2560x1440 @ 145hz.

Except for a aged graphics, compared to more modern modern games, are really nice and clean. I can see things clearly very far away. No anti-aliasing jaggy star-stepping/artifacts.

Currently
3840x2160, High Dynamic Range color, using quality settings, @ 165Hz, AH @ 110-118fps.

I still have a healthy amount of headroom left.

If nothing else, a lil benchmark of what can run 4k very well.

As long as you play AH you will be fine.

If you start to look into other games/sims at higher resolutions (2k+) you need to replace the video card, but can keep the rest of your configuration.
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

Ya, I figured as much. So far nothing out there is keeping my attention.
