I saw this crime map a month ago when I was comparing crime around us and the in-laws..

Pointing out facts to a post should not be considered political just because it goes against your post..

I wasn't trying to pick a side as both sides suck imo, I was just pointing out how your crime map is probably skewed..

Eagler

And your source that its skewd? When you say probably, then it sounds like you’re just guessing. You are part of a group that clings to conspiracies. If you have nothing to support your point then its just another conspiracy

I’m not agreeing with you. And yes it probably was political. Same political crowd spewing political talking points. The south has problems and you don’t like that, so its wrong.

It calls my area exactly right, is it because it shiws your area as not as perfect as you believed?

Just the fact that folks are debating the crime stats tells me there's a crime problem in this country. Recent past and present conditions have made crime, and crime rates a political issue unfortunately. Crime is big money no matter what side you're on. The only difference is what trough the officials in power at the time are eating out of. Of course, the numbers are manipulated. To think otherwise is naive at best.  :salute

When crime is celebrated as a challenge on social media..see tick tok..the world is upside down..

Had a misguided youth donkey kick our front door around midnight as his buddy watched from the sidewalk,  all caught on 4 different cameras ( figure that is why they pick our house, thinking we would post it up online which I didn't as I don't do social media noise...)

I kept the 12 gauge and the pitbull inside..

A week later an 11 year old is shot..and they blame the home owner..

Upside down and sideways..

No doubt, crime is a massive problem.

However, you can't shoot people for banging on or kicking your door momentarily. Yeah, you can shoot someone for trying to force their way in. There's a difference. Yeah, I blame the homeowner for not knowing the difference, and for failing to identify the person as a valid threat.

Totally agree.
Minstead of using the stats to be helpful they go off on conspiracies and frankly bizzaro accusations that can only go political. I refuse to reply to these replies. Then use a pitical based site to prove a point agsin something I never made.

People see ghost that are not there because they chose to see ghost that are not there. Politics is like heroin to some.

If I do start a political thread is ain’t done here.

It was not a political post. That side if the fence just can’t shut up, intolerable.

Its pretty narrow minded to not think a crime map does not reflect true stats when certain areas and cities and been found and proven guilty of fudging their statistics to make their areas look more safer then what they actually are, especially when they refuse to properly prosecute criminals by instead of catch and release

Such a sad mentality

People who have no clue, talk the most, just invent it as they go

All from the group that rallies around mind blown conspiracies. Ya I guess you’d think everyone else does it too.

I guess limiting information is better for making your point. Birmingham Alabama had more homicides than Chicago did over the labor day weekend.

Okay... in other words a gang problem in many cities. im fine with sending resources to any city that has a gang problem. We dont need to let these goons continue their assault on the public. FYI violent gangs are far worse for black and Hispanic communities so im not sure why you guys want to continue the gang wars since it hurts the families the most.

This is why we moved out of Portland, OR. People would rather bathe in their own trash than admit something is wrong and do something about it.

Politicians manipulating the system for their personal gain? Who would ever have suspected?
