Its nice some e takes the time to do this.

Unfortunately they kinda skew skill level with a plane.

If you squire those kills while vulching bases with a horde it means nothing.
Yet if you’re always on top and always victim of constant hording then you are a true viking.

Same applies to HO addicts.

So in the end it all depends on how one squints their eyes.

Why ranking matters not to some old dogs, its how they are acquired that blows it. Some of just look at it as fight by fight. It was either good or it wasn’t <shrug>

I dont know where you are getting vulching kills, its extremely rare for anyone to up when a base is being attacked as it is, let alone lost. 
To be the leader on the board takes a month worth of killing, not a lucky vulch day...but even then, if you are vulching you put in the work to deack the whole base and manned guns.  I havent seen a good vulching in many years. 
If you are too timid you might get a decent K/D, but kills will come slow. 
I love when people try to HO me, saves alot of time.  Yesterday I upped while being horded and a 190 dove straight down at me to HO and bit the dust.  Wasted all that altitude and E on a long flight just to try to kill me first.  Gave me a chance to take a good plane out of the fight and kill all his buddies much easier.  Of course he raged on 200 and logged.

Autoswitch literally moves me to the side getting horded every sortie.  The 190 was you? Why didnt you just get on my 6 after I stalled trying to defend myself?  If you are diving on someone that puts their nose at you, they can only do it for a few seconds, and its 100% defensive, if you still want to HO at that point you get the horns.  But no, all my kills arent HOs or Vulches, some people still put up good fights.

So you are attacking a base with 5-6 planes and you decide to dive on my plane that is taking off from 8k, yet im the one joining the horde....
If you get enough of those vulch kills you might end up on the monthly score board, good luck!
