But I did, just now.
Had the day off, spent a LOT of time I could have much more fruitfully spent in real life setting up my team for an eventual win...

And then tour change happened.

Which is fine, it's almost always overdue.

But to reset the entire map, negating my several hours of work (not just me, but me a lot, I took ownership in how well my team was doing)...

Bye for the rest of the day. For those of us who play for team instead of adrenaline, why bother?

I'm confused.

What is your desired remedy?

Toxic, psychotic, self-aggrandizing drama queens simply aren't worth me spending my time on.

He spent all day 50k in bombers off map or hidden in bushes at undefended fields. Wanted to win the war but tour and map reset.

Sounds like fruitfully doing the real life stuff was a better choice if this upset you enough to make this post.

Either maintain the status of the map when the tour rolls over, or start the new tour and map at a predictable day and time. It's a waste of time and effort for me to give bad guys relatively easy kills to try to achieve a larger purpose (helping win a map) when all that work goes away without warning.

Oh I'm sorry.  I misunderstood.

Yeah.  Seems in a perfect world a Tour could reset without resetting the current map.  A bit tricky if a current cap cycle spans two tours.  You have to code for the case.

I can also see how it would be a lot simpler to just reset everything including the current map and starting fresh.  ;)

Worthy of the Wishlist at least.  Oh I'm sorry, that was probably cruel. ;)

If keeping the current reset everything it can be avoided by having a scheduled reset.  As it is we dont know if we'll get it on the 3rd day of a month or the 6th, or the 8th...  Had the reset been schedule I assume he would have avoided doing hours of strat runs to prepare his team for today.

It's a legitimate point.  That is a poor user experience.
