Favorite Kind of Chair?
« on: Today at 05:33:40 PM »
I like one with a little cushion for my boney butt.  But not too much!  And big fluffy recliners make my lower back hurt.  Couches just promote poor posture.  I really like my office chair.  It's got lumbar support and everything.  One bad thing about it is that I put one of those rollerblade wheel kits on it and now it rolls too easy!  Just resting my palms on my keyboard will make my chair start rolling back!  So I have to lock the wheels... Which just adds an unnecessary layer of complexity... the rollerblade mod SEEMS like a fun idea, until you're in it-would not recommend!

What say you?

I was in a snowmobile accident 15 years and twisted my lower back almost 180 degrees. Now my  butt is almost in the front so I like bean bag chairs mostly.

Before my dad died three years ago, he had a custom chair made for me where the bottom of the chair is reversed from what a normal chair would be. There was a nylon mesh pocket on the back ( but facing the front) for my colostomy bag and snacks. That chair caught on fire last year and I wasn't able to salvage it.
