Not to kick a dead horse in the mouth…
I will beat someone down if I see them as off the rails ( nit that my word matters)
But I will also compliment a right.

So thanks for helping nits the other night from beginning to end and not holding grudges. It was helpful.

It was just an mild irritant to me. I made the comment on how does it switch you to a side with 10 more players than any other country. But 2 min later I forgot about it. Same with HOs.

Thats not how autoswitch works, it only moves you to a team if it has 3 or more less players than any other team.

I’m done with that subject, its not with hanging onto.

Agreed

I think it is a mild irritant, it is just a game.
Some abuse it and some over-react to it.

My whole point was how can you complain about an over-reaction when coming back to the same fight was irritating.

Chicken or egg.

It never sends you to a country with more players.  It always sends you to the lowest populated country at the time.  This can switch rather quickly depending on the time of day.  If someone gets switched and goes AFK for awhile, that countries numbers could rise and make it appear that they are on the higher country.  It only switches you when you end a sortie.

I think the only way for it to work as designed would be to have everyone on auto switch..

That said it wouldn't be needed if everyone was willing to do that as they'd balance the sides for competitive gameplay on their own...

It is what it is..

What a fuss over auto-switch!  When I log on, I find that - at most - there are four of us, out of 80+ flying - who are on auto-switch.  Having such a low number of mercenaries is hardly going to be the death of the game.

Now if everyone WAS on auto-switch...that would be a true circus!

I believe autoswitch was a lackluster attempt to help balance some gross imbalances. It failed .... so why do you think HT bothers to keep it?

Like I said, I don’t want to beat a dead horse. It wasn’t against AS, it was considered if it was actually used. It has the impression of manually done.

AS cannot read gang bangs when it switches you. It can send one to s lower count that actually teams with another country to gang the country it switched you from. Its the only time it contradicts itself
