And when I watched someone show me how they do it for all these other games with cheat blocking software and then do it to AH3 just to show me it’s possible..
Many games have this problem, it's not just an AH3 thing.
I saw a video on youtube some years back about an ESP combined with a wall hack and some other garbage in World War II online. The team over there at the time had no anti cheat or way to combat it so their answer was to bury it and get the guy to take the video down and act like it never happened...
I remember back in the days of Everquest there was a hack that you could run on Linux called ShowEQ. It would show an overhead view of the entire zone. It was impossible to detect because it worked by gathering data that was flowing across the network when you put your network adapter in promiscuous mode.
Another favorite is changing the value in memory that is reported to the server. You can do all kinds of crazy stuff from a plane full of fuel with zero weight to one with unlimited ammo/bombs. The problem is people know if they drop 100 bombs that they will get caught and banned. If they just use the zero weight thing or an aimbot overlay things like that are very hard to detect.
I guess my point is: "cheaters gonna cheat" and it's not in AH3 that it's a problem...
