Just raise the price back to $29.95...

You could lose half the remaining base and still make the same..

If you’re talking about advertising on tv the gain didn’t cover the cost of it. Its suppose to surpass the cost. The 1m you possibly spend could have updated the game and it sell itself with simple promotions.

Again, drawing them in and retaining them would probably depend on graphics.

Only 3-10% were retained.

So, IMO, the graphics must be modern graphics before gambling in tv advertising.

As some may have noticed, a lot of games went the tv route years ago, most pulled out, you rarely see them now for the same reason.

Update and spread that word on every internet place you can the word of those interested would travel word of mouth and if you are successful then MAYBE gamble in tv ads.

Bubble popper, I know.

If you drew in 40,000 at $15 you are only hitting $600k, that 1m is 400k under water.. aAnd that is if they make it past 2 weeks and subscribe.

IMO, it might be better if put into the game, and thats still a gamble, but maybe better results.

Fleeting thoughts, if you had 1m and wanted to advertise too maybe 500k on update, 500k on ads. A loose example. But 1m into game may be better, DCS, WT, IL-2 don’t advertise, that I know of, maybe short term ads to get the word out.

All IMO

Never played it but does mine craft have vga graphics for?

Isn't it so great they even made a movie about it?

I don't think graphics are the issue most want to think it is...it's the monthly sub, it is outdated imo..

Do you believe half would stick around if the other half suddenly disappeared? Seems unlikely to me.

I’m not paying twice the price I’m already paying to play a 25 year old game that’s had no development in 8 years.

I was just joking ...I  really think $4.95 is more accurate but I'd take a huge influx just to stay where he's at now..

Battlefield 6: 747,000 concurrent players. Not primitive graphics.

3 of the top 4 there are free to play. I bought PUGB several years ago so not sure how they are qualifying that.

Is there a monthly subscription?

AH is limited to a 5 year span of expired war technology which limits its audience imo..

Is there a monthly subscription?

It is included in their EA Play Pro subscription service I think.

But natively it is a buy-once play forever.  There are usually a mixture of official company servers and many customized player run servers.  Take your pick.
They will then periodically release expansion packs with more maps and weapons.  You don't have to buy those.

I prefer that personally.  You don't give anyone a dime until they FIRST have produced something.  Which means they don't get paid if they don't produce.

That's why I finally got smart and don't pre-order anymore.  :rofl  I wait until they have a product released and I check the reviews and I buy if what they are offering AT THAT POINT is worth what they are asking for.  I don't buy on future promises or wishful thinking of fantasy features someday.  It doesn't have to be perfect.  It just has to be worth the asking price at that moment in time, and if they ever improve from there, sauce for the goose.
