Can you pw a plane with a .45?

Has anyone ever encountered a random pw wound before? Is this even possible?

You can kill a pilot with a .45 so I would imagine that a PW is feasible

yes you can it happened to me many years ago as well as I've taken out a 17lbs manned gun with a .45 and I had a pilot walk up to my m3 and kill me from point blank range

Back in 2022 after a loooooong break from 2010. Old name Ratpack, same for the BBS.

Squad I did the most tours with were the Excaliburs then The 172nd Rabid Dogs. Still trying to talk Illigaf, Coola, Oldman22, and Joecrow into coming back instead of being boring old farts!

I did that during a field capture where someone missed an ack.

One time the field ack was down, and some enemy pilot was hiding near the end of the runway, and killed me on the rearm pad.  You gotta salute a guy who can be that sneaky.
