Fw 190F-8 of Stab.III/SG 10 crash landed at Dolní Věstonice, Czechia in May 1945. Nazi-occupied Czechia featured the last proper combat of the European war, with German forces being surrounded completely by Soviet and American troops.
This aircraft was a 1944 built F-8 painted in the gray scheme of RLM 74 and 75. At some point, it's camouflage was supplemented with a dark green paint. Earlier Eastern Front IFF markings were partially covered by this green paint, including the Hungarian Front "V" under the left wing. New IFF markings of a yellow cowl band and rudder were applied over the green.
The inner portion of the group commander's double chevron and probably a "1" were over painted with a lighter color and a green 5 and vertical group ID bar were added.
