For players who like to spend all their time resupplying, there's always Buzzsaw.

Not that anything I say matters, but usually receives an acid bath to do so,…

Anyone who volunteers time out of their life to contribute items in attempt to better the game, or just a simple change of pace, probably earned some form of respect in their efforts, personality conflicts aside.

Mistakes may be made, concepts may fail, skills are developing, things will be fixed, but putting their name on the line to try should never be discouraged with ridicule. There are those who volunteer time, and those who don’t. You’ll get a lot more done with sugar than salt.

I was taken back a bit when I came to AH in 2000. Never once was I or anyone else who volunteered contributions in AW. Yet the AH masses tend to ridicule and discourage such the end product by SOME. My contributions here in early days were mostly safe behind the curtain. Today, the heat I got from some for simply learning how to make a decent video is beyond vomit worthy, worse by former players with nothing but their inflated know-it-all ego in the community. This just didn’t happen in AW, ever.

Last thing we did was to hand a disgruntled former player a microphone, their intent is not the same as yours or they would be playing, water and oil. Worse, some hang here hoping to witness the end. Some predicted it will end within a year, for 10-15 yrs. Thats called hoping it dies because they aren’t in it and the end would justify it and prove their “vast wisdom”.

I didn’t care for buzzsaw simply because it put an arcade-ish face on the game. However, I respect the volunteered time and work in an attempt to better the game. To do so I consider kicking a gift horse in the mouth. My first vid and last is a vast difference, a skill is evolving, same with others.

Between AW and AH I have 10s of 1000s of hours in efforts. But never got bashed until I did it here. It only encourages to do less.

No offense intended to anyone, nor any one person. Consider the discouragement in growth.
No one is asking for praise, just not be bashed. Constructive criticism is encouraged.

Not sure what any of your comment has to do with strat resupping but people arent bashing your products, you pick fights with people and they bash you, then you play victim as if everyone has it out for you.

I simply used my self as a sacrificial lamb example of something posted here by a friend.

Haggerty you have a chip on your shoulder I never persuade, you persuade a response from  me. Same as your injecting yourself in the gross films thread. Which had zero to do with the subject. You complain more about me in a HO more than I do. Why you point jockies thinking pick a fight with someone’s lost skills and not much time on the books makes you look superior, it doesn’t. I never pant myself as anything great.

Go back in time on bbs you won’t find where I provoked an innocent player who didn’t bite first. They just can’t handle what they put out and I’ll make sure the attack is not a happy memory for them. No matter how ridiculous.

Also, get a sense of humor and don’t take yourself too serious.

I spend less time here. Is not worth the undue drama that festers. If I wan drama I’ll spend time with old biddies at a tea table.

I would be okay with doing away with C-47s Nearby to resupply If...........

We also did away with bomber reformations, with today's player number I don't see a need for Three ship bomber formations anymore either.

But if I was King for the day, I would also do away with mouse and keyboard flying/Gunnery, Like il-2 did on most of their servers.

I do a lot of long haul and very high strat runs in B17's and B29's with the likes of SkiShill dropping down from 40+K orbit. Got lots of gunnery firefight sorties that record losses on both sides. I hear ya', but not sure I agree. <S>

I'd like to think it would cause more planned missions. Deliberate attempts to take down strats Requiring teamwork and fighter cover. You know something that Resembles more of a Combat simulation.

Definitely miss the old days when I posted plenty of those for the general Bish population.. A few dedicated FG's like the 82nd in their beautiful P38 formations assisted. It was awesome.

Dickweeds are about the only outfit left to carry on that style of gameplay..
