War thing
« on: November 17, 2025, 04:32:57 PM »
Question: i tried to do a war thing awhile ago and it was mostly alright til the planes started shooting the GV's.

my question is, would it be better if the planes were on one part of the map, and the Gv's on another part of the map, so that they couldn't interfere with each other? let me know. thanks --jaeger1

Kind of sounds like a separate event for the tank/air battles would leave less gray area.

I personally don’t see an issue with planes straffing GVs, it just becomes annoying when sides aren’t balanced which is hard to do with planes and GVs at the same time

I get around this issue by carrying TANKS on my P38.

I don't think there was enough critical mass in regards to pilots so they ended up shooting the available targets - GV's.

If there are sufficient anti-air gv's enabled then its more fair, imho, moreso if bombs are disabled.

I have no issues with the planes straffing, since they can't really hurt tanks.

But fundamentally, there weren't enough pilots/players to dilute the impact of planes as you hoped - not a reason to give up, tho'.

What about real weak MG only planes that have minimal affect on most gv's..

As long as the planeset is equal I don't think it matter what planes they are..

Just set planes to P-38s only. Everyone knows we 38 drivers can't hit anything. Then the GVs only have to dodge parts falling and the occasional lawn darting 38.
