Finally, getting around to ordering a new puter and vr goggles

Computer i7 with 32gb ram, ssd, intel 5060 GPU with 8gb onboard, should run the game fine right?

Question about the vr goggle, what are peoples feelings currently as bests bang for the buck?
Looking at the quest 3s currently.

Thoughts/opinions? Anything better with a reasonable cost?

I would grab a pimax Crystal Light headset if your budget can handle it..

I have had the vive pro original,  a quest 2 and the Crystal light..

The Crystal light blows the other two away..

PC should be plenty. I have the Quest 2, the Quests are nice entry level headsets for the cost.

Quest 3S is very cheap at the moment, nothing else comes close. Quest 3 is a nice fit, and has a better field of view but you're paying more than double.

If it's your first headset a 3S might be a wise choice to see how you go.

From what I've seen the "upgrades" from the quest 2 to the 3 don't affect how it looks in sims. Resolution and lenses are the same from what I've read. That said I got a used quest 2 without controllers on ebay that works fine for $50.

If it was me, I would either buy a used quest 2 for $50 or I'd buy the Crystal light. The base model is only $100 more then the Quest 3 and the specs are much better. Just be aware that the $599 version doesn't come with the controllers. (which I don't use so I don't care)

$249 on black Friday sale when you can get almost the exact same spec for $50 like I did. You're paying 5 times the price for almost the exact same technology as the 5 year old Quest 2 and it's doubtful if you will see any difference at all in AH3.

No way the Quest 3S is worth the money and if you're going to get the Quest 3, the Crystal in much better hardware for not much more money. $583+249 so 842 for black Friday. I was looking for he straight 599 without controllers but I got the wrong link here. I'll see if I can dig up the right one.
