Memorial flight for airjer
« on: Yesterday at 03:51:36 PM »
Hey all

I’ve mentioned to have a memorial flight for «airjer » this Sunday, November 30 at 5pm ET, means 23.00h my time.  This is something we should do every time when someone passes away.

I’ve made an arena called «Memorials» and try to set it up by Sunday. I’ll update the program like field, country etc. by tomorrow.

Simple storyboard

-   We all form up at base (tbd)
-   We fly to 3 waypints (tbd)
-   We land all on the same field and runway and park the planes left and right
-   Five players (ideal squaddies) fly over the parked planes and one single breaks the formation

What do you think, could that work?

OldWolf,
The proposed plan for a memorial flight looks honorable to me.  Please update the date/time for Airjer memorial flight and I'll be there.  :salute

Oldwolfie, get with Jaeger1 and see if he can help with the Arena setup. He has access to several different arenas and could be a great help.

Personally, I would wait a week. More time to plan/prep and gives people time to get back from holiday travels.

Propper missing man formations have throttle around 75% throttle to keep it tight. See too many missing man formations lead by someone going full throttle. If your going to do it do it right.

Right is tight

Remember player created arenas are limited to 16 players. I could be done in the Training Arena, but Jaeger1 can set it up in the Events Arena or the AvA Arena. Our squad has a special Training Map, Jaeger set it up in the AvA arena for us to use. He is very supportive and always ready to help.  :rock

Agreed, we'll postpone the memorial until Sunday, December 7. Can someone of you please "call" Jaeger1 to prepare this all for us?

December 7 and Pearl Harbour, would that cause a problem to be airjer's memorial?

ive setup AVAperl in the AVA arena. this terrain is just pear harbor with the original Battleship types.
Avaperl you can launch from ford island if you launch a plane from P2.

you can also us a terrain called Pearl, which has all the islands. but its not as specialized as AVAperl.
it has the newer battleships in it.

call me or text me if you need me.
