Server to download Map's

I was just curious,,, Every time I try to download a new terrain it will take me multiple time's to complete the download due to the server freezing, and i have to come back and resume, My Internet is very capable of handling these downloads and I never had this issue in the past,,, my PC is directly linked to my router so no wife or hot spot issues ,,,, Just curious if anyone else has came across this issue ,, just for kicks this is my current dxdiag file not sure if my issue would show up

Sometimes its a bad hop between you and HTC. Starting and stopping and restarting the DL may get you a different route to the HTC servers and so a quicker DL when in game.

Some guys use a vpn to login and avoid a bad server.

Another way around might be to down load the map from the web site. In this case, browsers may be an issue. If you seem to have a slow DL in MS, try chrome, or FireFox, or Opera.

i use firefox ,,,, plus when i went to the website that feature for me to download terrains just says create a new personal arena and so on but for plane skins i can still d/l from the web site  I appreciate the help Bud

Start the game, sign in, then select "Choose Terrain". From that window you can download any terrain, even FSO maps and new maps not yet released. You dont have to setup your own arena.

Try downloading at different times of day. You might find from your area a morning download misses that slow hop, or and afternoon one might be better.
