I dont see much of a difference. He shot down almost everyone that came in range, much like you try to do. The only difference really is it will take you longer due to the numbers these days even using two accounts.

I never bothered to look into these threads, because I never had any interest in the score system and who was best in this or that.. Mostly because I always thought people that get their names in these lists are people that only play it safe, timid, run from fights, use picking tactics or in some way or form game the game to get their high score. So what I try to do is sabotage my own score by getting into all sorts of bad situations, dying more than I land, never use attack mode for deacking, only fly one plane as long as ENY allows it.. etc.. But I have fun, and that has been my drive all these years. I fly to have fun, if I don't have fun I log. Simple as that. And I rarely ever look into this forum because I am not really a forum guy, I just like to play the game.

But here I am, scrolling, reading random posts. And then I find my name listed as a ranked pilot?! Not just that, but as a tour top ranked Jug M pilot?!? Wtf?? How did that happen?

Except I horrify the bbs at times.

Stiff competition is good for any game, or they just get bored and go home. It drives all games to stay alive, including sports.

I might have been that a life time ago, but that's just not my thing these years. I don't get enough time in to get on any chart anyway, so fun dictates time on.

Agree that some pilots play super safe, but many are just excellent pilots that have been playing for many years and learn how this game works. To be honest, I believe this game should be played  whatever the user wants in order to have fun. We need and accept all enthusiastic players for this game. Like you, I also don't care about statistics and play to have fun...
