Highest Damage in 1 Sortie in a Bomber?

Just curious. What’s the most damage you’ve gotten or seen someone land in one sortie in a bomber?

I tried to look up a record, but couldn’t find anything.

My personal record was 76300 in a one sortie milkrun in Lancs years ago. Then I did one attempt later to break my own record, but got chased by fighters and messed up my calibration at the last drops, and only landed 65+k.

When you say "sortie" do you mean one real sortie or one AH3 sortie with unlimited rearms?

Back in the day I would take a single mossie with a 4k bomb and 2 500lbers. I would bomb a city, rearm, and bomb another city for a couple hours and rack up some ridiculous damage totals. I'm not sure if this is the "sortie" you're talking about or if you mean a single run with drones.

I remember a specific one where I got intercepted by 2 262s that appeared to not like me bringing milk to the babies. I climbed as high as I could and they were having problems getting up to me. I headed for a base near our strats (with 163s available) The 262s ended up chasing me for something like 6 sectors during which my fuel state became critical. I even shut down one engine in route. I don't remember the specifics but I know I was very close to the base but out of fuel when they got me. As soon as I died I grabbed a 163 and took off. One of the 262s was no longer there. I'm not sure if he was out of fuel or just didn't want to fly the 6 sectors back to base. I chased the other one down with my 163 and killed him in a brief fight. Was a bunch of fun.

Landed 50k damage and 4 kills in a TU2 fighter plane.   

2 buffs were easy but both of the two fighters forced me to work hard.

I don't remember my exact numbers but I'm pretty sure if your luck holds out you could reasonably get over 100k. It would take hours though.

My 76300 and 65+k score in Lancs was a no rearm, one long 100% fuel round trip around the map. 14x1k bombs, 14 towns hit. Think I spent over 4 hours in those flights if I remember correctly. Not something I have ever bothered to try again, now I like to shoot down bombers instead.

This probably isn't one of my better ones as it only took: 01:57:43 and I was ranked 2 in damage per sortie so somebody did better then me.

Max damage requires maximum time investment with little reward. Hone your skills in bombers practicing white flag+deack of towns, fracking/shutdown vbases+ports, and shutting down small/medium airbases.

Once you build up muscle memory in those areas and can do it effectively no matter what direction you come in at the target start practicing gunnery like I do. Within a few months you will be a force to contend with in this game.

Just as a general reminder: The damage points displayed at landing in the arena (this is what OP is talking about) and those on the scoresheet are not the same. In fact, they are only remotely connected to each other and not directly comparable. Player A can have a sortie with much higher "displayed damage" but much less score damage than Player B.
