Highest Damage in 1 Sortie in a Bomber?

Just curious. What’s the most damage you’ve gotten or seen someone land in one sortie in a bomber?

I tried to look up a record, but couldn’t find anything.

I made one run in a B24 with 500 lbs bombs, hit 3 towns and landed almost 37K

White flagging a town doesnt give you as much due to less splash damage.

We used to do the "Death Star" in Air Warriors. I think it was over a million.

Are we talking about the score damage points or the one displayed in landing messages?

The damage in lights, not sure what that would equate to in score dmg.

In that case, I would not really call over 100k semi-regular. In fact, I think it's very rare, not sure how many (if any) I have seen over the years.

Looking at the database of my own bomber missions, I didn't reach 100k displayed damage even once in over 3300 bomber missions. The biggest one was a B-29 town center milking mission at 59k 'landed damage' (and about 1.8 million score points). Only 9 more missions (all B-29 strat or town milking runs) yielded 50k or more.

You can not equate that at all. There is no way to know how many score damage points someone got by looking at the 'landed damage'.
