New Flight Sim Web-Site
« on: July 24, 2001, 11:16:00 AM »
Greetings folks,

I recently opened up a new web-site and moved my old Air Warrior info site there.  I have also started posting Aces High info to include the results of some tests I have been doing on the planes.  The data I've collected includes top speeds, acceleration, ROC, time to alt, deceleration (with 0 throttle), speed retention and others.  I have 7 planes done so far (G-10, Dhog, D9, La7, N1K, P51D, and Spit9).  My goal is to add a plane each week (probably in the form of 4/month to save some HTML work).  Eventually, I hope to add plane write-ups, maps, etc etc to make it a "complete" site.

Anyway, site can be found at:

www.netAces.org

Feel free to comment on test procedures (can be found on the performance pages) and, if anyone is interested in helping out with any of these tests, let me know!

Outstanding "real world" comparison charts on this site.  If you have not checked it out I would highly recommend it.
