Once upon a time there were a era when everyone and his cousin had a huge sig-pic.

I didn't care but guys with slow modem-connection were quite pissed sometimes. At least your's is small, only 17k  :)

One way is make a blanco post with your M$notepad and add a link in it. Then just copy&paste that link in your post and Voila.

What is a blanco post?  Please explain...

And btw straffo, this is not going to be a 200 lines tall signature, I'm just trying to get the image stuff working and then I will edit it down to a reasonable size.  Just playing atm.   :D

a blanco post (for me) is just a text file contening the code for the signature
so you don't have to type the code each time but rathe copy and paste the code.

Do you mean the UBB code?  Can you please post or privately send me a copy of your signature code?

Thanks,

BM

Staga,

You have an image in your signature profile.  How do you do that with the restrictions on image files?

Please explain as I am slow....

Using cut and paste method I can get...

-------------------------------------------
BLUEmako

"Live with it.  Enjoy the game.  Quit whining."

Isurus oxyrinchus
Qualities: Fast shark capable of spectacular aerobatics...
Hints: Very dangerous to man. Related to the White Pointer Shark. Well known for its unprovoked attacks...

Mako,
You don't seem to be understanding the image inclusion in your signature.
You can not put the UBB img tag in your signature file under your profile.

Staga is suggesting this:
Create an empty .txt file on your desktop using Notepad.
Put your signature and UBB code in there.
Then, when you post, open that .txt file, select all of the text (signature and UBB code). Hit ctrl+c (copy) then come back to the end of your post and paste it in (ctrl+v) where your signature would be.

Be sure to clear out your signature in your profile or you will end up with 2 signatures on your post. (or just uncheck the "Show Signature box each time you post)

Don't worry Sky Viper, I figured out what I was meant to be doing.  See above couple of posts where I got it sorted out using the .txt file method.

Thanks for help guys!

P.S. I am going to edit my pic to get it smaller and clearer.  Till then I won't be using a sig.   :)
