Do you have GTE or SWB in your area?

I can say I've had really good luck with SWB (South Western Bell) ADSL here in Dallas.

I've had several close friends that have had a hell of a time with GTE's DSL.

Could be completely different in Houston area you never know....

I use Earthlink. No problems with WB's or AH. I get good conx to both. I have GTE for my phone lines and they suck the big one. Used to have SWB and they were great. Not gonna go the DSL route myself, to expensive for a poor boy like me.

LLBM OUT!!!!!!!

If your gonna play online games, forget about AOL, its literally the worst there is, period.

At&t net is good, and IBM net, are both very good national service providers.

LLBM, more expensive? I just ordered DSL today from Bell Atlantic, and its going to cost me $49.95/month for 640k service.  And that will allow me to get rid of my second phone line ($35/month) and least one of my ISP's ($20/month and or $27/month) for a total monthly savings of $5-$32. Oh and did I mention its gonna be 12 times faster   !!! Gotta love it.

I live up in Spring, have used swb.net, wt.net, and pdq.net for various reasons. Had good connects and low lag with all.  Since HTC is using SWB you might get a little lower lag with them.
