Loss of perk points
« on: March 08, 2001, 07:04:00 PM »
I just had to be the first to squeak about losing 70 perk points for the white out bug.

Not really squeaking just wanted to be the first.

Everything looks cool(what I could see before the white out) and had fun till reset.

Cya all in a few.
I have been reborn a new man!

Notice I never said a better man.

Don't have enough Perk Points to fly the Blitz in the Main Arena....did fly it offline (cant fly it in training for some odd reason).

Felt bad for one player, i was going to watch him take off and he must of hit the wrong button, dropped bombs instead of firing rockets and blew himself, and 70 perk points, all to hell.

Actually he started the RATO bottles too early. A lot of good guys died tonight for the same reason. Yes, me too   . And yes, I tried the damn thing 2 times offline before going online to spend my hard earned 70 perk points  . Two perfect takeoffs. Went online... BOOOM!!! Well, it seems I will be the only guy in the arena flying B17s, B26s, and Lancs, while everybody is flying Arados   . HT I want my perkies back!!! Pleaseeeeeee

Don't feel alone....I've been flying the dang Ju88 all night to get more perk points as well.  Man, I'd be some careful with perked airplanes...if you move airfields or so much as stare at the monitor too long, you'll those points.

I'd really like to know why the Perk Airplanes arent available in the training room for practice.  Clearly we all need it!

If you are lucky like me you can get the AR234 off the ground and fly for 10 minutes getting to the target ... only to be discoed right after salvoing the bombs.

70 perks points? Hell I blew prolly 400 in the 1st half hour. I was inna sorta dreamland.... gah gah.. new planes.. must fly...

Didn't really register that the perk system was in place.. like...NOW..

Ended up augerin' em all, but MAN are they sweet rides. Was alotta fun.

Conversly - I took up an ol' freind, the Spitfire... Got me 2 perked whatsits and a nother perked sumthin' else.

These planes are easily killable, yet at the same time, a real blast to fly.

All in all I was just grins up there... was fun.

I reckon the perk system is gonna get the ire from people who just, frankly, take this stuff way too seriously.
