No excuses not to go this year so I guess I the DVD player will have to wait a while longer.

Any idea if there is going to be a web cam in the marquee again this year?

If they do another show at Masterton I reckon the Wellington AH members should definitely have a demo tent.

I did that a couple of years ago to show off air warrior and got a loy of interest (but no recruits). Theres at least 5 Wellington pilots that should be interested:

Vulcan
Spatula
famin
palef
JPJ (foxton)

any more?

Hey... why dont we start a squadron?;)

Definetly an option. Not sure when the next masterton one is - if at all. Was a good day tho. Was the first time i heard a supercharged merlin  - of the mustang and spit! wow!

A sqaud of kiwis? not sure about Vulcan, hes a dweeb :p
I think the others are in "Staunch friends" sqaud or something. But im looking for recruits for the 357th and more kiwis would suit me just fine! Allready 2 kiwis and one Aussie in the sqaud! Just send me a prvte msg, and we can trial all who are keen.

actually when I took my PC to masterton last time I sited it in an office in a hanger and it worked very well. Lots of thru traffic and no dust.

In fact at $1 a go I think I MADE money... hehehehe

If we want to get more kiwis involved you just have to publicise somehow. Show your wares etc. Ive done demos in hobby model shows (Michael Fowler centre), IPMS meetings, airshows late night talk shows (best results actually) and lan meets. I even got cheeky once and rang up the airforce and suggested they post a flyer to see if any personnel wanted to try simming (possibly to make up for their lack of 'real' flying... lol (the wing commander was very appreciative of the offer actually). But its really hard to get new recruits.

Corse some of us are serious loners and thats fine too but remember what happened to AW. When the numbers drop off the owners close shop (hopefully a VERY long way off in AH..)

anyone got any serious suggestions on where best to do a demo in Wellington? I was thinking the ATC one day.

Just ignore Vulcan and his attempt at slagging me off.  He's actually been really upset since the Hero parade was called off and he won't get the chance to show off his new gimp suit.

Back to the topic.  Accomodation is sorted in Wanaka and I'm flying from Auckland for only $220 return.  For less than NZ$1k, (US$420),  I'm going to have a hell of a week =)

Spotcha in the Air,
