There are a bunch of self-appointed heavies patrolling the BBS with - IMHO - the intention of declaring any suggestion (however innocuous), any complaint (however constructive) and any debate (however objective) as 'whining'. If the Unter Offizier in question personally disagrees with a post as well, it is declared 'moronic whining'.
Now this may be intended as just harmless fun but am I the only one to find these repetitive cheap shots a bit tiresome, not to say boring?
And yes, I hope Rude sees this one too...

And in defense of your point Tjay, no threads here are seriously “policed” by the AH community that one is whining if they have a legitimate purpose or entertainment value.

 In cases of  FM, hacking, or realism regarding HTC choices of their sim, if they have data to back it up, that’s one thing. Mostly they don’t, hence the flames.

 Really.

If ya wanna see some real BBS Policing, try the WW2OL forums. I thought some of the flaming here was bad... but one day I stuck my head in over there and got mobbed by a group of inbred "Its your setup" printed T-shirt wearing fanboyz.

AH BBS ain't that bad :)

Fly? Im good at that. Get a airline job, call the day before to list on the flight 1st Class non-rev, wear dress clothes, be very respectful to the crew, introduce yourself as a fellow employee, call the flight attendants by their first name and ask them why they don't make more money for their impossibly hard career, and be quiet otherwise and stay outta the way.

 You'll be besieged by drinks and then nap in the leather comfy chairs, awoken by offers of a hot towel and ice cream, while your in the middle seat in the back with quite ironically the "Bistro Meal" which I named you after. Now ya get it, see? ;)

If you meant AH, Im good in the Dora. Or so I thought till this "Lazer" guy waxed me in a P47. Humiliating. I suck in Monolpoly too, and worse at scrabble. What can ya do.

Ever so sorry to disappoint you, Hristo old chap.

This Toad does not frequent AGW.

I had the handle first, in DOS AW. My friends and squad stayed there long after WB opened and a usurper grabbed the name before we switched. Thus, I was Toed in WB.

I can understand your confusion, but the WB Toad and I are not the same.

OK, copy that. I won't whine (sorry, make that 'post constructive criticisms') about the Whinestapo any more! They have failed to rise to the bait and thereby shown they aren't quite a stupid as I thought they were. And thanks to all those who have contributed helpful and polite replies. (Not what I expected and a pleasant surprise.)
I agree that most of the comments are light hearted but there is definitely a regular small (brained) minority who just take cheap shots at anyone who posts here - which might deter delicate flowers like myself from contributing.

Possibly people disagree with you?

Me, I figure if the information is posted for discussion, then discuss it. True, some people bandy the "whine" word a bit too much, but the intent is usually merely the fact they disagree with you. I've argued as much as anyone, but I don't consider myself to be one to personally attack anyone as a rule. You may see that differently.
