For version 1.09, we’ve already announced a Ki-67 as a plane addition. The other plane additions in 1.09 at this time are from the early war. There will be a Bf 110C, a 109E, a Spitfire I, a Hurricane I, and perhaps some other surprises. This will give us broad coverage of the war period; we just need to fill in the holes. This wide range of planes gives us a lot of options to expand our future plane set and the gameplay offerings we can provide. We should have some new aircraft screenshots out this coming week.

wooooooooowhooooooooooooooooo oooooooo :)

109e and a 110c :)

Is it too early to start agitating for a Battle of Britain scenario?

This sounds so good :)

I would rather have seen some info on what gameplay changes 1.09 will bring. Oh well, I'm just gonna have to wait a bit longer then :)

Perhaps the best "News" announcement I've read here.  A fine way to start off the new year.

With one exception....

The omission of P-40 news peirced my heart like a dagger.

Don't let it, AK. I think the comment "and possibly a couple of others", coupled with the seeming backward-looking scope of the planes included, gives me some reason to believe we may see P-40's yet this release- especially when we consider the number of theatres in which it participated. It does make sense from the scenario standpoint, at least.

I'd love to see a P-40 sometime soon.  As long as HTC fleshes out a BoB planeset, I'm hoping that a Ju87 will pop up as a surprise as well.

Kind of like when Elton John sent you a rejection letter in responce to your request for an autographed photo, citing that you were just "too gay".  That's rough.

Weird choices.  But as long as we keep getting new planes I'm happy!

Great news to see early war planes being added along with updates to the bomber aspect of the game so does this mean we're likely to see an RPS as these early war planes won't get used in the uber enviroment we have now...can you imagine a Spitfire Mk1 up against a Nik or La-7?
