Here are some reasons that you will get a page fault error.

The virtual memory system becomes unstable due to a shortage of physical memory (RAM).
The virtual memory system becomes unstable due to a shortage of free disk space.
The virtual memory area is corrupted by a misbehaving application.
An application attempts to access data that is being modified by another running application

Check your memory and your diskspace.
Also if it was working before what changes have you made to the system. And that is anything deleting hardware install software install....

If you got a virus before you might want to make sure that its completly gone. Unistall that game clear it out of the registry and try AH and see what happens. When a virus hits my machine I usually wipe it clean and start over. Thats really the only way that you can make sure that its gone.

:D  i think I found the culprit .... after a serious search  ... a wicked worm virous .. hidden deep deep deep in my  c:/ drive
I'm lucky it didnt effect my D or E drives  , well my terrain editor works again . whoo hoo but i lost my project ..
I beleive the virous came in from VR1 in the Fighter ace 3  beta sim .  well thanks for reminding me of all the work ive had to do .... 11 hours later and im a happy pilot again :D
