Well this may sound funny coming from me but I really don't see why he is in jail.

If he wants to go live and fight in another country...fine let him. Take away his citizenship and ban him from this country.

I mean he didn't come here and try to fight us he went to his new country to fight there. The only thing he didn't do was try to become a Aphgan citizen legally.

How many people come to America and join the military? If it's ok for these people why is it bad for one of our citizens to do it?

 Heya buddy :)

BUT :D  the legilative branch aproves the appointments. Which begs me to ask, how man of Bush's appointees has the Democrat controlled Senate aproved a good quarter into his term?  I know the reps did it to Clinton too, but it doesn't make it right.

On OJ, yeah the prosecuters did some dumb stuff, but IMNSHO Ito made the thing the circus that it was and ruined any chance of justice actually taking place.

not bad for a doper eh? :D

Takes 2 witnesses to each act of treason. We don't have them. The constitution clearly lays out what is needed to convict somebody of treason.

Tah Gut,

Tuche!  I know nothing of the "left coast's" state politics.  Though I thought I heard some talking head on tv the other night saying Ito was up for re-election, so I ASSumed that he was elected to the bench.

and about my brain cells.  Look I've only got 2 left and they're busy arguing, so leave them alone please :D

He'll probably get a slap on the hand, do 5 yrs., write a book, and make millions, claiming he was a victim of mind control.

Guilt by association followed by a sentence of death is not what I would call justice.

The prosecution has a weak case. They have from the start. So what you have is outrage that there could be an American with the Taliban followed by frustration that there might not be a thing that the courts can do about it.

I think the facts will come out and that Walker shouldn't be used as a proxy for Bin Laden simply because we have failed to find/kill him.

Let me see...

2 witnesses? How about the dozens of people that witnessed his capture WITH other Taliban fighters...

and those who witnessed him say he was with the taliban..

and the letters he sent home justifying terrorist actions against the US (USS COLE) by the Taliban...

Treason is treason.

Shoot the little toejam and be done with it.
