Sidewinder FFB2
« on: January 17, 2002, 07:52:43 AM »
Hi all
I've recently bought a MS sidewinder FFB2, as my FFB pro died
My big problem is:
with the old joy I totally disabled the return to centre force in the windows control panel and it worked great for me.
Now if I try to disable it in the FFB2 it automatically creates a new profile and AH doesn't accept profiles but only the default settings, where return to centre force is enabled at maximum value.
How can I change the default setting? I looked into windows registry but didn't find any solution.
Why there is not the possibility to set this force in the AH FFB setup?
I love to feel my joy with not forces while I'm on the runway or at slow speed, and feel force to increase with  speed

Thx all

Bye

Lucchini

Instead of disabling it have you tried just changing it from maximum to the minimal? Also you can edit the profiles. See if you can edit the default profile and instead of saving as another save it as the default.
Here is MS Sight on it if you have not already been there.

Also before you gointo AH right click on the sidewinder program in your task bar and choose close or disable. Then launch the game and set the settings in AH.
