Wow, 80% of your DVDs suck so much they should be melted and used for plastic bags.

And how come The Godfather trilogy and Thin Red Line are missing in that huge list'o'crap?

I'll wait until I find a decent copy of the GF trilogy used at a decent price...

As for TRL... there is no way in hell that overated peice of rhetorical crap will ever reside in my house.

Because thin red line sucked.  Big Red One needs to be added when he gets a chance though.

hehe, I dont know.
I loved it.

you just cant see it like a war movie.
Its a different subject matter altogether.
It just takes place in a war.

I didn't think it was THAT bad.  I sure as hell wanted to strangle that squeak that dumped her husband though lol.

Nope.. never said they were.  And I never said anyone needed to add them to their collection either.  But I would (and have) watch any of them over TRL again.

BTW... one of the worst movies I've ever seen (that wasn't intended to be that way) is in this list: "Get Carter"

Not really an "HT Type".  I have a sony DVD with 5.1 and run it through a Sony home system with 5 speakers strategically located to irritate the wife.  All this on a 27" Sony TV (its a small livingroom).

I must say that "The Matrix" does kick bellybutton at max volume though:D

While SOB was contemplating his inadequacies (I hear he does that with his right hand), I've been building the collection:

American Pie 2
Big
Big Trouble in Little China
Buckaroo Bonzai: Across the 8th Dimension
Porky's + Porky's 2 (combined)
Rush Hour 2

Two requireds from those:

Big Trouble in Little China
Buckaroo Bonzai
