Author Topic: Can't Log Into Any Arenas..Help!!! (Read 417 times)

My internet connection seems fine but I have been getting timed out since yesterday afternoon.Alternate routes do the same.Wierd thing also is that my ICQ will not connect online either.I can browse the web just fine but cant get into AH.Is it possible I have activated some sort of firewall?Also,in trying to log in I prompt for my password to be resent and I get message "password sent" but nothing shows up in my email?My email did change a month ago(mapmusic@rogers.com)...Never not been able to log on to AH when I have an internet connection,any help would be much appreciated.

Did you change your email address in the Admin ? (either on the HTC website or within AH itself). Your pasword will be re-sent to the email saved there.

Yes I did change my email with HTC as I can access my squad site.But I still cannot log onto AH arenas.It's been 24 hours.I know it has to be a problem on my end was hoping for a tip or two.

Can you ping HTC (with pingplotter or another software). ?
What kind of connection are you on ?

I am on a cable connection.How do I ping HTC?I never tried that before..

I am now able to log into AH arenas.Be damned if I know what problem was.Probably my server but was really weird that I could browse web but not enter AH...I have ordered DSL and am going to dump @home as soon as it arrives in the mail.Thnx for help all,hope that's the end of it.

Just for your Info :
in Windows 98/Me select "command" from your Accessories folder (in the start menu), a DOS box will appear, type in :

ping www.hitechcreations.com

That should get you some info on your connection to the HTC server, again, you need to ask osomeone for the MA IP address (replace http://www.hitech... with the IP for the MA)

If you want more detailed info, check uout stuff like http://www.pingplotter.com or http://www.neotrace.com , you'll find loads of sharewares/freewares that do this
