i recently tried to drive from one base to another in a ground vehicle, i picked the two closest bases which were actually a base and a train depo. now the first time me and a person named axis got in panzers and headed east untill we found this big hill, once on the hill i forgot about my truck driveing training and failed to shift to a low gear, soon my tank was going about 200mph and plowed into a tree :( axis died too :) now next time i slowly decended the hill and then was on my way.

i spent over an hour driveing and dodgeing trees only to get stuck at the bottom of two hills :(

is there any plans to add transport planes for sky droping vehicles? would be great to skydrop a few jeeps way into the enemy front.

Use "Spawn points", take a vehicle from a "Vfield" and hit one of the available starting directions on the clipboard (N S W E). This will bring you a couple of miles away from your target.

on mindinao theres not many spawn poinys so gvs are impractical as offensive weapons. but then again in rl there was no pziv's and the like in mindinao :)

on the ute map the gv war is much better.

on the norway map the gvs spawns are normally restricted to coastal areas.

on the island map the center island is where you'll find the gv action. Theres also a few vbases scattered about that have spawns.

Alot of folks wish there was away to incorporate the old "beta map gv war" with canyons and plains and plenty of gv spawn points.

Even the old map where a1 was in the center had good gv action.

One thing that would help in Baltic and Mindanao would be roads with bridges and tunnels.

pokie and nuttz and a few others are working on bridges, unfortunatly, we can't do tunnels....yet

coolest thing about tunnels would be sneaking an la7 or another small plane thru it:D :D

well i dont really have no say, im one of those 2 weeks trial newbies how are normaly refered to as bananas :)

ive been in the game for about 4 or 5 days, and have many questions. ive noticed that in warbirds 3 the vehicle spawn points are alot closer but still require a good distance in driveing before you can find a good engagement :( also in wwiionline the spawn points are alot farther but since they got the firebases to work  the distance is now where near what it is in AH. with no bridges, tunnels or other pontoon (SP) bridges (note to self start thread on mobile pontoon bridges) the ground war is only used in base defence :( i dont know too much to actually know the importance of GVs in AH and in reality it is a flight simulation at heart so im sure that HTC isnt too fixiated on GVs as they are with planes and other issues, but none the less it would be good to see some stuff.

all in all AH is actualy very enjoyable if you squelch the common channel and any other bananas that seem to clutter the radio buffer makeing it impossible for people to comunicate (why again did they add the private ch function?) and it would be nice if i could go into the training arena and receive help instead of being cursed over common by some idiot who is vulching every field in a me262 :( then there is the fact that ive received more help from other newbies who are struggleing then from dedicated people who know what they are talking... and where is my trainer to help me understand the online manuel? sighhhh :p lol

oh by the way its 4:30 am after a long day so the spelling and general sentence structure is not very good :) but with all the other people on this board who probably have yet to get out of gradeschool i really dont care too much about keeping face, besides after another week ill be out of your hair :D

2 c47s could tow a glider, this should be easy to implament now with the 4 plane bomber formations

what would be funny if you control them from the glider, a-la pod racer style

If you're referring to CG-4A's, (which were capable of carrying 13 troops, a jeep or a howitzer) they were generally towed one or two at a time by a single C-47.
