P-51's chasing D9's, 152's, La7's, etc.?

Could it be true? Has the 51 lost it's long lived label...The Runstang? Surely not!

Frankly, just the thought alone turns my entire world upside down

I mentioned this very thing in another thread Ice. There are people flying planes other than the Mustang that deserve the "runner" label even more than the runstang pilots

Just remember the term "Dorka Dweeb", or just "Dorka" for short.

It will replace the Runstang as the most blatant runner in the game. At least it did in AW (before they changed it). Indeed, few people flew Mustangs except those of us who happened to like the P-51.

Now, what is a good label for LA7 drivers?

Deja...vv that...what Rip said is prolly true...those folks will gain confidence in their rides and die that much faster

Kieran...I tried the B model, but I'm old and need to see whats around me(bubble canopy). I fly the D model with a 4-gun loadout...it's nimble and from my experience, I found it to perform better under 10k than the B model...try the D model configed with 4 guns and let me know what ya think.

I was talking in terms of level speed. The 51B is faster on the deck than the 51D. What's more, the range appears to be better, meaning you can take an even lower fuel load. This bird appears to shine from deck to ceiling IMHO.
