Congrats on Stalingrad

I managed to get in for a bit on Friday night and early Saturday afternoon.  You who designed this arena did a fantastic job.  The scenery is awesome, the cloud layers keep the fight at its appropriate level, and the aircraft available to each side seem well-balanced.  My frame rate suffered, for some reason, but was still well within acceptable limits.

Keep this one up for awhile, and advertise the heck out of it.

Beauty, but still needs some work for spawn points as 10bears already is aware of...great job!  I enjoyed my time in there this past week end.

It looks great,  low clouds, dreary gray sky, bleak snow covered landscape.  Almost got frostbite just flying around.    You guys did a great job,  just have a problem with the "missing shapes" around 48, maybe its the river.   Can you change the color of the text or something?  The green is really hard to see against the white, even if I zoom in.
Looks really cool when stuff is burning and the smoke.

One other thing i noticed,  when I'm flying under the cloud cover everything is fine, but if I fly under or near cloudless part of the sky my frame rates really die, screen starts stuttering.  (could just be my system)

Oldman,

Try to recall the pilot that answered some of your questions on your first day at Aces..:)

Rip pointed out (by action) that A14 area needs another airbase. I don't want to fly no 50 miles to fight him.

Thought the river barge routes were causing the missing shape messages so I took them out but forgot to take out the port objects that go with them... I'm sure this is whats causing that.

Higgins yesterday asked me to find the maproom at V9. Well.... I couldn't find it!.. Surprised the object report didn't show that

Vh field at A48 needs to be moved up the hill closer to the action.

Needs 20 or so more vh spawn points

Return to Field numbers on the map... Big blue ones.

Jurrys out on the cloud layer, good for lighting and gameplay but is a frame rate hit.

I see darker clouds on the deck... sposed to be light an puffy. The idea here is its hard to tell where the cloud ends and the ground begins.

Couple of other little flaws you guys haven't noticed yet but sure stick out for me. "townlayout" for the town near V9 doesn't show up. V9 buildings need to be realined.  Little things like that.

Glad the reviews are mostly good.

As a map, it's lovely, surperbly atmospheric; and I *like* the cloud fights.

But the distances are too long (especialy for a Hurri); and while I realise that Dar settings aren't really part of the map, as such;  such a cloud obscured sky with no dar makes it hard to find the fight. Very tense once you have some inkling you're not alone; but that's pure chance.

Personaly, I only get the "missing shape" thing on reduced view range, for some reason. If I use full range view; no error messages.

If it helps anyone: Shift F3 brings the FPS back a bit, and you can change icon (and base) icon colours to any value via clipboard/setup/colours.
