Well, we sure aint the best, and we sure are new from AW but I just want to thank sac4, palef, Koolaid, JPJ and Monst for some epic teamwork style missions lately.
especially palef.
with the efficient use of roger wilco on a private channel we are starting to work as a pair and it is FUN! I thoroughly recommend it to anyone who hasnt tried it.
we do plan a mission beforehand, assign roles and keep constant radio communication going. We have read Shaw and try to use the classic acm maneuvers and generally they WORK!
working together scares off at least 50% of (I suspect ) experienced pilots and gives us relative newbies a fighting chance against the others.
Instead of dying every flight and getting 1 kill per 2 missions we now (when working together) get 2 - 3 kills per mission and 80% safe return to base.
The crucial factor is communication! Roles can be established and calls made on the fly.
we know weve got a loong way to go to match those efficient killers like FD and Vulcan but we're starting.
Its like micro-organisation really Lazs hehehe... and its great!
