The problem happens whenever I go to the shutdown menu and select shutdown..
Instead of shutting down, it boots back into windows..
Any idea's?
I dont have restart selected either...

Windows 98 I'll bet.
If so download the Large IDE device update. A fast CPU can execute instructions so quickly Win98 doesn't shut down.

Actually I have Win2k and its been going on for about a month...

Hmmm...you might try this...check and see in the device manager under COMPUTER if your set to "Advanced power managment computer" if it is try changing it to "Standard PC".
