Nvidia GeForce2 GO
« on: January 21, 2002, 09:56:01 PM »
HI i dont know much about 3d cards and stuff, but i have read in posts and in the nvidia web page that there are these drivers for tweeking and upgrading the performance of your 3d card, so i cheked and the only card not supported by the driver is mine the "geforce2 go" so i have been affraid of downloding anything in the event it will go wrong, but if anyone knows what to do to get the most out of my particular video card i would really apreciate it.

thnx

nVidia the bunch of swines they are have dropped the support for GF2Go altogether by the looks of things. From what I could gather 2Go is a toned down MX (lower main/memory frequencies to reduce the power usage on a laptop).

Both Dell and Toshiba are keeping their drivers up to date with the mainsteam Detonators - I get mine (current verison - 23.11) from 3dchipset.com  and with PIII 1GHz I get ~2100 3DMarks 2001. I never bothered to try and tweak it tho as it's my laptop I use for work too;). Then again - why bother? It's got decent enough performance as it is and if you bust it - you're truly screwed...
